The beginning of a long future together
It was a perfect fall day, the air was crisp, the sun was shining and thousands of walkers and runners banned together to participate in the Scotiabank Marathon on September 26th, 2010. BCIC was one of the teams participating in this year’s marathon as the “Waterfront Wheelers” to complete the 5K walk. The Bliss Team included Bliss Users, Alumni and Members of the Bliss Community; Joe Jessop, Elaine Drover, David Routledge, Sherly Thankappan, Peter Lindsay, along with many friends and family to cheer them on. The Bliss team walked to raise funds in support of the great work of BCIC and were able to raise close to $4,000!! Way to go Team!! We’re already gearing up for next year’s marathon and hoping you can join us next year and for many years to come.
